Gorgeous, exceptionally clean venue with good location so close to the alleys, nearby mountains and the center of Manteigas. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom and central heating, television, and a sitting area in the room. What a friendly staff. The service in general was good!

The location of this place is superb, with a large park just a short walk away, and the rooms with balconies were a nice touch.

The staff here were extremely welcoming and helpful, and the location couldn't be better, right in the heart of downtown; the room was spotless, cozy, and even had a balcony.

Loved the cozy living room where I could pretend to read a book while actually just taking selfies. The breakfast was delicious and the free parking was great, especially when I had to park three blocks away.

The 35-minute drive to the ski resort felt like a never-ending journey, but hey, at least I got a great workout for my patience.

Casa D'Avenida provided a comfortable stay with two standout features. their database was very informative, allowing me to get a detailed understanding of the hotel and its amenities. the room with a balcony was a delightful addition, offering beautiful views of the surrounding area. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the tranquility of Manteigas.

One minor drawback I found during my stay at Casa D'Avenida was the lack of information about nearby restaurants. Despite the helpful database, I was not informed about a fantastic restaurant located approximately 1km away from the hotel.

Friendly welcome and delicious breakfast

We were warmly greeted by the owner and despite the language barrier, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from, including fresh orange juice and delicious pastries. The owner's hospitality and the tasty breakfast were definitely highlights of our stay.

The hotel was a bit tricky to find, as it was tucked away in the narrow streets. It took us a few attempts to locate it, especially with the one-way system in the area.

I had an exceptional stay at this adorable mountain town. The place was spotless and the breakfast spread was wonderful with fresh squeezed orange juice and delicious baked goods. The family who runs the place was incredibly kind and helpful, providing assistance with hiking and recommending activities. Despite the language barrier, they were able to communicate effectively using translation on their phone. The location was perfect for exploring the Serra de Estrella trails. The only drawback was the firm bed, which was uncomfortable after long days of walking. I highly recommend staying at this friendly and authentic place for a great value.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Casa D'Avenida. Despite the language barrier, the hosts were warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with a variety of delicious local cheese and jam. The location was also great, with easy access to the beautiful surrounding areas. we highly recommend this hidden gem for a genuine Portuguese experience.

Jaw-dropping hospitality despite language barrier, mind-blowing breakfast with fresh cherries and orange juice, super cosy room with balcony, access to a "living room" and kitchen, great starting point for exploring the beautiful Serra da Estrela.
